Sorry for having been a bit absent but the cold I caught a few weeks back really knocked me out so the focus has been on trying to get rid of it and handle extra work loads in the office. I will soon bounce back. And post more than the odd picture and video.
But, till then….have a fantastic Friday and weekend lovelies!
How has this woman never been married? She’s funny, gorgeous and has a fantastic career. Yes, I know that’s not all but come on…!
Well, makes me feel like I’m in not too bad company though…and Diane Keaton just went to the top of my list of funny women I would love to meet for a drink! I can already feel my laughing muscles aching!
Sometimes you just have to talk yourself into feeling happy…I still have that miserable cold but am determined to not let it stop me from enjoying my weekend this time. Therefore I am planning on lots of sunshine, the company of good friends and a whole lot of smiling.
I am feeling mighty small today, have gotten myself a massive head cold as well as an excruciating back ache so there goes most of my plans for the weekend. Sleep, sleep and more sleep is what I’ll be doing instead of gallivanting around town. Have a brunch on Sunday though that I won’t miss out on but till then I hope this cold is long gone. One should always think positive right?
Have a great weekend lovelies and hope you all have something fun planned!
A wonderful speech from New Zealand MP Maurice Williamson on the marriage equality bill. I am very much for this and am so happy to see yet another country taking this decision…
“All we are doing with this bill is allowing two people who love each other to have that love recognized by way of marriage.
That is all we are doing. We are not declaring nuclear war on a foreign state. We are not bringing a virus in that could wipe out our agricultural sector forever. We are allowing two people who love each other to have that recognized, and I can’t see what’s wrong with that for love nor money.
I give a promise to those people who are opposed to this bill right now. I give you a watertight guaranteed promise; the sun will still rise tomorrow, your teenage daughter will still argue back with you as if she knows everything, your mortgage will not grow, you will not have skin diseases or rashes or toads in your bed. The world will just carry on.”
UPDATE: And when they break out in a Maori love song…then I couldn’t hold back a tear.
